Lucy made her show debut at 6 1/2 months of age. The first time in the ring she went Winners Bitch, Best of
Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex for 3 points at the Halifax Kennel Club show. At the Maritime Group 7 Specialty Show the next day, she went Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for another 3 points. The following day at the Halifax Kennel Club show, she went Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite, and Best Puppy In Breed for 2 more points bringing her total to 8 points in her first weekend of shows.

Lucy finished her Championship at her next show 2 weeks later at the Cape Breton Kennel Club
show going Winners Bitch, Best Of Breed, Group 4, and Best Puppy In Group.
